They're Back!

This morning, as I was gardening, I heard something hovering near me. I looked up and was delighted to see it was a hummingbird. It seemed a bit rattled that I was there. I had been planting morning glory seeds at the base of a trellis where one of the hummingbird feeders hangs from. After hovering and waiting a bit, the bird moved on to another feeder just a few feet away. I suspected hummingbirds had returned to Oakdale, mainly because the nectar in the feeder was getting low, but this was the first time I had seen one this year. Glad to know that they're back.
