Eight-spotted forester

The above photo was not taken at any of the local parks. I saw this eight-spotted forester moth in my front garden and took the photo with my phone. This is the first time I've seen one of these. Apparently they lay their eggs on grapevines and Virginia creeper. I don't have grapevines, but I do have plenty of Virginia creeper vines which I seem to be constantly pulling up. Perhaps now I'll keep a few Virginia creeper vines for these jolly looking moths.
