A Wild Pansy

I saw this wild pansy growing between the cement curb and pavement in a parking lot in Heckscher State Park. It reminded me a bit of the Wordsworth stanza,

" A violet by a mossy stone
Half hidden from the eye!
—Fair as a star, when only one
Is shining in the sky."

It was a bit charming to see a little flower growing in a neglected run down lot. Amazing that it is surviving in such a un-nurturing environment.
