Hudsonian Godwit
I had been reading for weeks on the eBird Alerts that birders were seeing a Hudsonian godwit at Heckscher State Park. So, it was no surprise to me when I saw one. It was in the parking lot of Field 7, just walking around with the seagulls, looking for something to eat in the grassy areas of the lot. Although I didn't get a great shot of him, I felt it a good idea to at least document my sighting also.
